01. ACCUTRIGGER™

The first-of-its-kind system is easily adjustable by the shooter, offers a light, clean pull with no creep, and prevents the firearm from discharging if jarred or dropped.

02. ACCUSTOCK™ CHASSIS

This rigid rail system firmly embedded in the stock throughout the fore-end of the rifle. Rather than uni-directionally engaging the action at one or two points, ours engages the action along its entire length.

03. HEADSPACE CONTROL

By carefully threading our barrels into place with their individual action and bolt, it forms a hand-fit, perfectly-matched set that is locked in place with a barrel locknut. We call it our "zero-tolerance" approach to headspace.

04. FLOATING BOLT HEAD

Because the Savage floating bolt head is designed to allow a few thousandths of an inch of movement, it can adjust itself for a perfect fit only typically found with hand-lapped locking lugs.

05. PRECISION RIFLED BARRELS

Savage proudly employs both specialized machinery as well as experienced operators. Each and every Savage centerfire barrel is checked and, if needed, hand straightened by the same skilled craftsman.

06:FACTORY-BLUEPRINTED ACTIONS

On select long-range and target rifles, Savage takes the extra step of individually truing and blueprinting their actions, much like your custom gunsmith would do. But we do it right here in the factory before those rifles are even assembled.
